Worship Ministry

The Cornerstone worship team exists to glorify God and to lead the church in songs of praise and surrender to Jesus. Worship is a crucial part of our Christian walk, so we include a time of communal worship at every regular service.

Vision Statement:
We believe God is worthy of all praise. In our worship, we set aside intentional time in song and prayer to give God glory for His goodness, love and faithfulness. 

We believe that worship is an act of surrender. Surrendering ourselves as a “living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God,” is our response for His mercy in our lives. Romans 12:1

We believe that God wants to have fellowship with us. We welcome His presence into our worship and seek the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that worshipping God brings unity to the body of Christ. As a church, we lift one mind and one voice together to bring glory to God.

We believe worship prepares our hearts to hear the word of God and that through the application of scripture in our lives, we are being made into the image of Jesus Christ - the evidence of which is spiritual fruitfulness.

Getting Involved:
Everyone is encouraged to take part in worship. Whether you’re singing from your seat or leading from the stage, worship begins in the heart and is an intimate act between each individual and God.

There are multiple ways to get involved and support worship at Cornerstone. Potential opportunities to serve include joining the worship team, sound, lyrics, live-streaming and more.
