Outreach
LEADER - Dan Kazanjian
Jesus said, “…Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
As believers in Jesus Christ who have been changed by the gospel, we are called to preach the gospel and live it out wherever we are. At Cornerstone, we desire to equip you to be ministers of the gospel through teaching, discipleship, and providing opportunities for the entire church to engage in the disciple making process.
Our heart is to reach both our local community, and the greater community with the life-changing message of the gospel. We have provided and will continue to provide evangelism training and discipleship.
Local Outreach
We are involved in reaching out to our surrounding communities by bringing the gospel message to those who are lost. We have an “Outreach and Evangelism” channel on the Cornerstone app where we post that information.
Various types of Church Outreaches are planned throughout the year such as street or boardwalk evangelism or tables at local events.
Also, our community outreach meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at the church and runs from 10am-1pm. It is a great way to get exposure to sharing the gospel. We go door to door and deliver groceries to the local community in need, and use that as an opening to share the gospel.
Global Outreach
These are a list of people we support who are working around the world.
Austria: Ken and Michi Meyer
Haiti: Pastor Leo Azilien
Philippines: Robert and Joy Ruotolo
El Salvador: The Batistas
Serbia: Zoltan Vegel
Portugal: Brandon and Diana Harding
Short-Term Trips
In addition we have opportunities come up each year to be a part of Global Outreach in one to two week long trips, often times in support of those listed above.
Methods on How to Share the Gospel
The Romans Road Method
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 1:20 - ”For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” God has revealed Himself to all men.
